The Shoreline Community Community College Women’s Soccer Team dominated Columbia Basin College on Wednesday at Twin Ponds Field in Shoreline, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw as Lady Dolphins out shot the Hawks, 33 700_5621 Womens Soccer 2013to 6, but could only muster one goal and SCC gave the CBC team a penalty kick for their only score of the match.

Freshman Montana Powell scored for the Dolphins in the 65th minute on an assist by Allyson Snyder. CBC scored on the penalty kick in the 51st minute.

SCC is now 2-1-1 on the season and now 0-0-1 in the Northern Region, as the NWAACC Northern Region and Eastern Region play mandatory crossover games that count in each other’s region records. Columbia Basin is now 2-0-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in the Eastern region.

The Dolphins travel to Spokane on Saturday to play the Community Colleges of Spokane at Noon in an Eastern Region crossover match. The Lady Dolphins take on North Idaho on Sunday in Lake Coeur D’Alene, ID at Noon in a non-NWAACC match-up.
