Shoreline Men Drop Close Battle

D7A_2229The Shoreline Dolphins came out strong and took an early lead but were not able to hold on. Midway through the first half the Olympic Rangers came back. Shoreline continued to hold a small lead for most of the game but in the end the Rangers were able to finish when it counted and pulled out a 78-77 win.

Shoreline could not find a way to stop Olympic’s Jayson Brocklesby who had 24 points and 7 rebounds. Cortavius Williams also had a strong presence with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

The Dolphins were led once again by Bronte Corbray who had 19 points, five rebounds and two steals. Earl Thompson had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Shoreline could not find a way to stop Olympic’s Jayson Brocklesby who had a season high of 24 points and 7 rebounds. Cortavius Williams also had a strong presence with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The Dolphins  are now 0-3 in region and 3-11 overall.

Shoreline was without top players Ryan Reyes and Dean Viena for last. Both will be returning for the next game against Skagit Valley College on Wednesday, January 13, 2014. Join us at 5:30pm for the women’s game and 7:30pm for the Dolphin men’s team.
