Shoreline falls on the road to Olympic

Shoreline Athletics, baseball new uniforms release, women's and men's basketball vs. NWIC, Shoreline CC Gym, Shoreline, Wa., Jan. 29, 2014.On Saturday the Dolphins traveled to Bremerton, WA to take on Olympic College. Shoreline struggled to rebound the ball and fell to the Rangers 71-46.

The Dolphins were unable to gain control of the game. They were in foul trouble most of the game which led to 28 Ranger points from the charity line. Shoreline was held to a shooting percentage of 30% and only came away with 30 rebounds on the game.

The Rangers on  the other hand had five players in double figure scoring. They were led by Macy Walker with 19 points and Mariah Fraizier with 15 points. Olympics Leahi Lindsey had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Shoreline was led by last week’s player of the week Emily Wilbur who had 20 points and shot 50% from the field. Justice Perry showed her strength on the boards once again with seven rebounds and 11 points.

Shoreline is on the road again this Wednesday to take on Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon, WA. The Dolphins look to improve as we enter the last quarter of Northern Region play.
