Volleyball– This past week the Shoreline Volleyball team visited Skagit Valley College on Wednesday September 20th and hosted Edmonds Friday September 22nd. The Phin’s put up a great fight at SVC on Wednesday ultimately losing 3-2. For the Phin’s, Ashlee Conklin led the way with 22 kills and Aliah Kim handed out 21 assists. In the Dolphin’s home opener Friday they dropped the match to Edmonds 3-0. The Phin’s record expands to 5-13 overall 0-2 in the North Region. SCC hosts Everett CC on Wednesday September 27th for a 7pm start time.

Women’s Soccer– The Women’s soccer team hosted Everett CC on Wednesday and earned a 2-2 tie. Jamie Beirne had a huge day for the Dolphins scoring both goals with both being assisted by Brooklyn

Gratzer. For Gratzer, that’s her 3rd assist in 3 games to go along with 3 goals. Unfortunately, later in the game Brooklyn Gratzer had to leave the game with an injury. An under-manned Dolphin team traveled up to Whatcom CC on Saturday and took theloss 3-0. SCC’s record is now 2-3-2 overall and 2-2-1 in the North Region. The Phin’s return home Wednesday September 27th to host Peninsula College for the second go around at 2pm on the SCC Soccer Field. SCC then travels to Skagit Valley for a 5:30pm start time Saturday September 30th.

Men’s Soccer– The Men hosted Everett CC this past Wednesday September 20th but lost the match 4-1. Hector Martines scored the lone SCC goal, while Genero Ruiz led the sway with 16 saves. On Saturday, the 23rd SCC traveled to Whatcom where they took a 4-0 loss to the Orcas. The Dolphins will hope to rebound against first place Peninsula Wednesday September 27th whom they tied earlier this season 1-1 and Saturday night the Phin’s will be on the road at Skagit Valley for a 7pm game.
