Volleyball- Shoreline Volleyball last played on Wednesday September 27th at home versus Everett CC. The Dolphins won 3-0, defeating the Trojans 25-17, 25-9, 25-9. Ashlee Conklin led the way with 18 kills, contributing with 20 assists was Aliah Kim, while Julia Clack the SCC Libero had a game high 22 digs. With only one match last week the Phin’s are next in action Wednesday October 4th at Bellevue College before returning home Friday October 6th to take on Olympic College. SCC expands its record to 1-2 in North Region play and 6-13 overall.

Women’s Soccer- Last Wednesday September 27th the Women’s Soccer team hosted undefeated Peninsula College, the number one team in the entire NWAC and lost 8-0. On Saturday, the Phin’s traveled up to Skagit Valley to face the Cardinals and dropped the game 2-0. Goalkeeper Rebecca Hulse combined for 32 saves for the week. The Phins now stand at 2-5-2 over all and 2-4-1 in NWAC North play. Next for the ladies are two road contests at Edmonds Wednesday October 4th at 2:00pm and at Everett Saturday October 7th at noon.

Men’s Soccer- Last Wednesday September 27th the Men’s Soccer team hosted Peninsula and dropped the match 7-1. Dumitru Robu scored the lone Dolphin goal, his first of the season. On Saturday Shoreline visited Skagit Valley and earned the 2-2 tie. Hector Martines scored both goals for Shoreline. They were Hector’s 3rd and 4th goals of the season. The Phin’s overall season record is now at 2-5-3, 0-4-3 in NWAC North play.
