Lady Phin’s Playoff Bound, Julia Clack & Ashlee Conklin Earn All Star Status

On Tuesday November 14th the NWAC announced the Regional Volleyball All Stars. Sh0reline was represented by 1st team selection Julia Clack and 2nd team selection Ashlee Conklin. As Shoreline’s libero, Clack led the Dolphin’s with 275 digs averaging 3.72 digs per set, 10th in the NWAC. Conklin led Shoreline with 259 kills, 3.28 per set and good for 9th in the entire NWAC. Both players have had outstanding career’s thus far and hope to keep the momentum going this week.

Thursday, November 16th the Shoreline Volleyball team will begin the NWAC Championship tournament in Tacoma. The Phin’s will face the #1 seed from the East Region, North Idaho at 4:30pm on court #1. North Idaho comes in with a record of 31-6 (15-1) in the East Region and a number #2 overall ranking in the NWAC Coaches Poll. Rachel Leshikar ranks #4 in the NWAC averaging 4.54 digs per set, while Hailee Etter posts a .339 hitting percentage 3rd in the NWAC. The Phin’s have their work cut out for them but are one of the hotter teams entering the tournament winning their last 3 matches.
