January 22, 2018

SHORELINE, WA

The Shoreline Dolphins Men’s Basketball team improved their conference record to 2-2 (6-9) defeating Skagit Valley College on the road (1/10/18)  Saturday night. Shoreline dominated the first half up 11 at the break and held on late in the second half to secure the close victory. Terrell Brown, Jr. again led all scoring with 31 points drilling six of ten attempts from the three point line. Brown also continues to lead the entire NWAC in points per game averaging 29.4, he also leads the conference in steals with 3.8 per game.

Saturday, January 20th the Phin’s outlasted the Skagit Valley Cardinals. SVC out shot the Dolphins from the floor shooting 50.8% vs. the Dolphins 47%. The Cardinals also made 8 more free throws but the difference once again was Brown and the Phin’s getting off more shots especially from the 3 point line. From three, the Phin’s rattled off 15 of 31 from three while Skagit Valley made just 7 of 18. The Dolphins tough play  has put them right in the middle of contention in the difficult NWAC North

Up next for the Phin’s is Wednesday night’s 7:30PM matchup with Bellevue College. It is ‘Pack the Stands Night,’ meaning free T Shirts to the first 100 students, faculty and staff. Other highlights will include halftime contests and prize giveaways, free drinks and popcorn and a chance to take a selfie with Dolphie!

See you Wednesday night!
